How It Works
- Enable the add-on: Edit your map → “BuddyPress Members Google Maps (Addon Settings)” → tick Enable BuddyPress → Save.
- Add a profile address field: BuddyPress → Profile Fields → Add New Field (type: Google Autosuggest) so members can set/update their location.
- Assign marker icons: In WP Maps Pro, create marker categories and map them to BuddyPress roles or groups.
- Choose who appears: In the map settings, select which roles and/or groups to display.
- Customize the info window: Fill “Message for BuddyPress Member” with placeholders (name, profile link, etc.).
- Publish: Insert the map shortcode. Members render as markers; their details show in the info window and the listing.
