If you have a Wordpress site then I urge you to install Wordfence!
I have used this on multiple sites, including one that was checked by a company that demanded 100% security.
They managed to crack other sites but not this one!
It may seem a bit complex at first but once you get used to it, I believe it to be the most comprehensive, efficient plugin of its type.
