Looking for solutions on either of these:

• Are we currently able to use templates? I downloaded the addons and added them all one by one. I downloaded all of the templates form the link discussed in the comments containing the .ss3 and .demo files. How do I upload the templates to be used?
• I also downloaded Smart Slider 3 Pro, attempted to import the .ss3 files and it resulted in an error. am I doing something wrong?
• Additionally I downloaded LayersSlider and am unable to use any of the templates or premium features, unsure if this is by design and we are only able to use the designer to create slides or I'm doing something wrong?

Hi, you must upload templates manually.
At the moment I can’t send screenshot’s HOW TO because I’m in vacations and I don’t have local server on my laptop.
Check their docs maybe they have something there, or try to import them using the wp import feature

When importing a .ss3 or .demo file [Screenshot (SS)].

According to the various instructions, the templates should be a zip file. So I tried uploading the entire "Demo_Smart_Slider_Pro.zip" from the URL included in the Templates.html file within the Slider Revolution Download. After about 10 minutes of trying to import, I ran into the same issue experience with the .ss3 and .demo files [SS].

I'm using v6.7.17 and I've also installed all of the add-ons and they're activated.

Included in the "Demo_Smart_Slider_Pro.zip" file is an image advising how to import the templates using Smart Slider 3 Pro. An error message populates when importing .ss3 files. [SS1] [SS2] [Instructions stating we can only upload .ss3 files that have been exported by "Smart Slider 3"] Doubt this is an issue considering the ss3. files are from 2020 and Smart Slider 3 was released in 2016.

Update:

• Troubleshooting steps taken:
  • Changed .ss3 and .demo extensions to .zip.
  • Successfully extracted and identified outdated formats.
• Identified:
  • The "data" files needed to be converted from PHP to JSON (required format).
  • Must be renamed to slider_export.txt.
• Attempt 1:
  • Created a script to apply conversions.
  • Result: Script didn't work but bypassed the text file error.
• New issue encountered:
  • JSON structure required alterations.
• Attempt 2:
  • Created another Python script to alter the JSON structure.
  • Result: Import completed successfully, but the module template was blank.
• Conclusion:
  • Likely need updated templates.
