SupportCandy Timer is an add-on that enhances the functionality of individual tickets by providing a timer feature. This feature allows agents to log the time spent on each ticket, which is particularly useful for maintaining accurate time records and charging customers based on their service duration.

How it Works:​

• - Agents can start or pause the timer within a ticket while they are actively working on it.
• - Once the agent completes the task, they can stop the timer, add a description for the time log, and submit the record.
• - Additionally, agents have the option to manually log time for specific tasks.
• - Each agent’s timer operates independently, enabling multiple agents to start the timer simultaneously for the same ticket and log their time.
• - Agents can view and modify existing time logs for a ticket.
• - From the customer widget in an individual ticket screen, agents can also see the total time spent across all customer tickets.
• - The total time spent can be added to the ticket list table.
• - Timer logs and time spent macros can be included in email notifications for tickets.
• - Customers can view the timer widget if enabled, but they can only see the time spent in the widget.

Available Settings:​

• - Auto-start the timer when a new ticket is added. This feature is disabled by default.
• - Auto-top all active timers after the ticket is closed. This feature is also disabled by default.
• - Agents of a specific role can modify the time logs of other agents. If this role is enabled, agents of that role can add, modify, or delete time logs for other agents.
• - In the widget settings, you can choose who can see the timer widget. Options include customer and agent roles.
