I just imported, everything went fine.
Make sure you're using the theme only from here,also install the required plugins (idk if this could be the issue).

The import works perfect as it should.

Interesting:
with Mamp Pro on my local mascine all is ok with 21.7.3 as an fresh install on an fresh Wordpress too.
So I can say is only a problem with Local by Flywheel.
